Senior Full Stack Engineer

THE ROLE

Join our early stage start-up, as our Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive the customer experience of a new category-creating and ground-breaking product in the Data Analytics space. The ideal candidate is a passionate, yet pragmatic  thinker and maker that can think broadly across platforms and domains, but then dive deep into the details. You should be passionate about working strategically with executives and other senior leaders to create and deliver big, visionary and customer-focused experiences

SKILLS MIX

MUST HAVE HARD SKILLS:

• Development of backend APIs in Node.js, to help users consume and interact with the insights being generated by the data pipelines and data stores

• Development of responsive Front-End applications with React, including Web and Mobile (App & Web) interfaces with the right set of guidelines (code, review, test, deploy, operate) 

• Solid experience in building and maintaining scalable and high-performance SaaS applications, preferably using AI tools like Windsurf/Cursor/Claude Code.

• Integrate with platform tools (build, test automation, test case management, CI/CD, feature flags, operational metrics) to rapidly build applications at scale, to maintain high quality, availability, reliability and performance

• Strong understanding of testing and observability to ensure that operations of the entire application stack are automated, to ensure comprehensive testing of the application & monitoring of overall metrics

SOFT SKILLS

• Leadership: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate team members

• Ownership: Able to deliver E2E features. Has worked with 0-1 startups and understands the overall tasks needed to deliver customer value.

• Agility: Deliver incremental updates to ensure feedback

• Work with ambiguity: Able to take reversible decisions to move forward, rather than get blocked on dependencies

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Deep understanding of Javascript and experience with React development, including best practices on charting (HighCharts)

• Experience with Unit and Integration Testing frameworks and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), edge (e.g. CloudFlare) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

REQUIREMENTS

• 6-10 years of experience in software development roles, preferably working in startup and/or product companies

• A passionate technologist with a brilliant growth hacker mindset

• Experienced with creating modern user interface for responsive (Web/Mobile App) SaaS applications with a dynamic front end, REST APIs for use by multiple simultaneous client accounts (multi-tenant)

• Work in global teams, across time zones and be ready to support customer deployments of software you create

• Enjoy writing good quality code, with best practices for design documentation
