This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer – React / Node.js based in India.
This role is an opportunity to contribute to a fast-evolving digital learning platform focused on transforming education through AI and modern web technologies. You will work on building scalable, user-centric applications that support global learners, educators, and institutions. You will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on performance and user experience. The role combines product thinking with hands-on engineering, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building impactful SaaS products from the ground up. You will also collaborate closely with distributed teams in a remote-first setup.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React and Node.js, ensuring scalable and high-performing systems.
- Build and enhance platform features with a strong focus on user experience, responsiveness, and usability.
- Develop backend services and APIs, working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL to ensure reliable data handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, remote teams to deliver features in fast-paced, iterative development cycles.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and security across the platform.
- Optimize application performance and support deployment processes in cloud-based environments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development with strong expertise in React and Node.js.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js backend development and API design.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or remote team environments with strong ownership mindset.
- Solid understanding of SaaS product development and user-focused engineering.
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Exposure to mobile app development (React Native, iOS, or Android) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a passion for learning new technologies.
