Senior Fund Accountant - CITCO Institutional Services

Your Role:

• 
  Performing the administration / shadow accounting / book keeping of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of institutional clients
  


• 
  Calculating Net Asset Value for portfolios, which includes Cash and position reconciliations, Income, and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation,prepare and review trial balances.
  


• 
  Maintaining books and records; including
  


• 
  General ledger and various sub-ledgers.
  


• 
  Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations.
  


• 
  Income and Expense Accruals.
  


• 
  Capital Activity processing (calls/distributions/transfers).
  


• 
  Calculation of Admin Fee, management Fee, Incentive Fee.
  


• 
  Prepare and review trial balances.
  


• 
  You will manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables (SLAs).
  


• 
  Maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements.
  


• 
  Identifying and escalating any material issues effecting service delivery to the Supervisor;
  


• 
  Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding client service agreements
  


• 
  Support training of new fund accountants and on-boarding of new clients and/or funds.
  

About You:

• 
  Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
  


• 
  4-8 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry
  


• 
  Excellent analytical, problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
  


• 
  Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  


• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
