Senior Hardware Design Engineer - Power Electronics (UPS)

Support Design & Development of products such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), micro data centers, and server racks, and create product BOM in SAP and release for manufacturing. Responsible for customized solutions, lias with sales and customers for design approval.To Be Quality concious during the design inception stage to ensure reliability and consistency in delivering results. Work on VAVE/ Feature addition as well as Quality improvement projects on the products, Localization support and validation is also included. 1. Application engineering for tender compliance and customer requirements. Design systems/equipment ensuring reliability, manufacturability, testing standards, material and cost guidelines. Prepare & validate design documents: configurations, principles of operation, application guidelines, specs, BOM, SLD drawings. Prepare test plans, improvement plans, tender compliance documents as per IEC/BIS standards. Support manufacturing at factory/vendor sites. Coordinate with system engineering and program/product/project managers continuously. Provide Engineering support in creating manufacturing processes on New/VAVE/Custom solution products. Support to Identify/ Develop new vendors for the Localization projects. Work Collaborate within Functional team and Cross functional team for the project deliverables. 1. BE/ B.Tech. 1. Experience with AUTOCAD/E-Plan and MATLAB/Simulink. Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and technical documentation.
