Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales professional with more than 6 years of experience in selling Hospital Management System (HMS) / Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) software. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with hospitals and healthcare institutions, presenting software solutions, managing the complete sales cycle, and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for HMS/HMIS software among hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, diagnostic centres, and other healthcare institutions.


• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, field visits, referrals, industry events, and other business development activities.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital owners, directors, administrators, IT heads, purchase managers, and other key decision-makers.


• Understand client requirements and demonstrate relevant software modules, features, and business benefits.


• Present product proposals, conduct software demonstrations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales deals.


• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and prospect qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure.


• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.


• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update lead status, customer interactions, and sales forecasts in the CRM system.


• Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development plans for management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration will be an added advantage.


• Approximately 5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in HMS/HMIS, hospital ERP, healthcare IT, or similar healthcare technology solutions.


• Proven experience in B2B sales and business development within the healthcare sector.


• Strong understanding of hospital workflows and software modules such as patient registration, OPD/IPD management, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inventory, and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).


• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.


• Willingness to travel for client meetings, hospital visits, product demonstrations, and business development activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with a proven track record of selling HMS/HMIS or hospital automation software.


• Experience dealing directly with hospital management, healthcare administrators, and IT decision-makers.


• Candidates who have independently handled the complete sales process, including lead generation, product demonstrations, negotiations, and deal closures.


• Experience managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets in a competitive B2B environment.
