Role Overview
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior HVAC Design Engineer to lead end-to-end engineering and cost planning for HVAC solutions across industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
This role requires a balance of deep thermal engineering expertise and practical estimation skills. You will be responsible for developing performance-efficient HVAC systems while ensuring cost competitiveness and technical compliance with project specifications.
The ideal candidate brings strong proficiency in load analysis, airflow engineering, equipment sizing, drafting, and BOQ preparation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Thermal Engineering & System Design
Perform detailed heat load calculations using recognized industry standards and project-specific
parameters.Calculate tonnage requirements, airflow (CFM), static pressure, and duct sizing for optimized system
performance.Apply psychrometric analysis to evaluate cooling strategies and system
efficiency.Design complete HVAC layouts including duct routing, zoning, and airflow
distribution.Select and size HVAC equipment such as AHUs, Air Washers, Ductable Units, Ventilation Systems, and energy-efficient cooling
solutions.Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using
AutoCAD.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and energy-efficiency norms.
2. Estimation & Commercial Planning
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on approved HVAC
designs.Develop accurate cost estimates aligned with project scope, material specifications, and installation
requirements.Create techno-commercial proposals and support tender
submissions.Validate BOQs received from sales or project teams to ensure technical
consistency.Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize cost without compromising performance.
3. Technical Coordination & Project Support
Work closely with project execution, procurement, and sales teams to align technical designs with budget and timeline
constraints.Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and clients to clarify design inputs and
specifications.Support technical discussions, design review meetings, and project
handovers.Provide engineering support during installation and commissioning phases.
