About the Role

This role is within the Corporate R&A team covering New Zealand region. The Corporate R&A team is a dynamic team with exposure to various sectors with end to end management of the portfolio.

The R&A role is primarily responsible for identifying and effectively managing the assigned portfolio. End-to-end relationship credit management process covering Credit Writing, Risk Grading, Risk Analysis & Credit Approval, Documentation and Portfolio Monitoring (well managed).

Deep understanding of credit management processes and relevant dependent processes and product areas with a focus on continuous improvement and actively contribute to Institutional’ s credit process improvement initiatives.

What will your day look like?

As an Institutional Research & Analysis Analyst, your accountabilities include:

• Asset Writing Memos (AWM) for Authorized Point status clients


• Financial Monitoring Dairy Notes (FDN)


• Annual Review Credit Memorandums (ARCM) and other deliverables assigned from time to time


• All other credit management activities as identified by Credit and Capital Management (CCM) as part of business needs.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Credit Analysis skills (strong fundamentals of accounting standards and credit assessment)


• Business acumen and report writing skills


• Excellent report writing skills


• Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance from a premier institution or master’s in economics, etc


• Excellent communication and ability to build effective relationships stakeholders


• 4-6 years’ work experience in the field of credit analysis or research field
