Senior IT Business Relationship Manager

Position Summary

The Senior IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the assigned business segment, driving the alignment of business and IT strategies. This role is pivotal in identifying and implementing technology solutions that enhance business performance, manage risks, and foster strong relationships between business units and IT at all organizational levels.

Duties

1. Establishing, planning, and administering the overall policies and goals for the information technology needs and make sure they aligned with the divisional business needs.


2. Analyze the needs of functional business departments, establish priorities for feasibility studies, research options/alternatives as they  relate to available shared systems and outside services, and present and prepares capital project requests.


3. The Senior IT Business Relationship manager will be responsible for documenting existing workflow and current business processes, gather information on user and business requirements, and draft system specification.


4. Understands IT system validation concepts and provides documentation and input into the validation process.


5. Understand all technology related needs, assist in the prioritization of projects and activities, and ensure that projects align with technology that best provides maximum return on investment.


6. This position will have a direct line of reporting to IT and a dotted line to the SVP/VP of the business segment.


7. Business Segments / Units included are Life Sciences Global, Supply Chain / manufacturing, HC EMEA, HR, Quality, AST – Senior role will focus on large revenue or revenue potential & greater geographic/ cultural complexities

Education Degree

Required Experience

1.10+ years’ experience working hands-on with technical applications, as well as management to lead projects through full life cycle
2.Proven track record in managing large-scale projects using agile methodologies, with a focus on delivering high-impact results and driving continuous improvement
3.Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including advanced methodologies and best practices
4.Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies, adapt to evolving environments, and lead cross-functional teams effectively
5.Extensive experience with Digital, Mobile, eCommerce, CRM solution platforms, and proficiency in multiple Business Intelligence (BI) tools
6.Exceptional ability to solve complex problems, innovate, and enhance existing processes to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
7.In-depth knowledge and experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements
8.Superior oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders, including senior leadership and external customers.
9.Extensive experience in developing and presenting Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) to secure project funding
10.Comprehensive knowledge of information technology capabilities, software languages, applications, database technology, communications hardware/software, standards, procedures, and data security techniques. Extensive understanding of enterprise architectures, order management, and supply chain management.
11.Regulatory and Compliance Expertise: Direct experience with medical equipment manufacturing and FDA software validation requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
