Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team and collaborate with customers on complex software development and modernization projects. The role demands strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and exposure to messaging platforms and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design scalable solutions, drive process improvements, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, solving architectural and development challenges.
  

• Design, develop, and document scalable technical solutions based on business requirements.
  

• Contribute to application migration and modernization initiatives, including effort estimation.
  

• Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services, with security implementation (JWT validation).
  

• Use Swagger or equivalent tools for API documentation and design.
  

• Work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka to support distributed architectures.
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, consolidate documentation, and align with system dependencies.
  

• Participate in continuous improvement activities, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and monitoring.
  

• Prepare and present technical proposals to customers with solution scope, impact, and cost.
  

Requirements – Must Have

• 6–9 years of overall Java development experience.
  

• Strong expertise in Core Java
  

• Hands-on experience in Spring / Spring Boot / JPA 
  

• Proficiency in Hibernate or ORM frameworks 
  

• Proven experience in RESTful services development 
  

• Working knowledge of SOAP services 
  

• Familiarity with Swagger or API design tools
  

• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka 
  

• Exposure to cloud platforms 
  

• Strong knowledge of databases and development tools.
  

• Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  

• Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman) and monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Ability to perform requirement analysis and prepare design documentation.
  

Good to Have

• Knowledge of the US healthcare domain.
  

• Prior experience working with US clients.
