Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.


• Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures to support evolving business needs.


• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.


• Work with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, etc.) for application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.


• Implement event-driven, reactive systems using Apache Kafka to enable real-time data processing and integration.


• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices (SOLID principles, TDD, DRY).


• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, scalability, and resilience.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment.


• Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical leadership.


• Contribute to technical roadmap planning, architecture decisions, and system design discussions.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Java 8/11/17 with deep understanding of OOP, concurrency, and design patterns.
  
  
  • Proven expertise in Spring Boot (including Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
  
  
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
  
  
  
  


• Cloud & Infrastructure
  
  
  
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying Microservices-based architectures.
  
  
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services (compute, storage, databases, messaging, and infrastructure-as-code).
  
  
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

  • Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger preferred).
  
  
  • Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  
  
  • Strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
