Job Description - Senior Java Developer AWS

Key areas of responsibility where you’ll make a difference include:

Develop, investigation, diagnose, and resolution of performances for Applications.
Complete the design, development and testing of components that deliver on FCT technology capability with the goal of providing reliable, stable, and operationally sound applications, systems and infrastructure that meet business requirements and industry best practices
Develop the review of work (individual and team) and provide guidance, advice, and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required
Experience in use of consistent use and application of tools, standards, methods, and processes to ensure that quality applications are developed with consistent maintainable code which supports risk and compliance management

Specify interfaces and translate logical designs into physical designs taking account target environment, performance & security requirements, and existing systems
Quick POC development for technical solution feasibility using prototyping tools where necessary
Employ CI/CD and DevOps practices that are endorsed by Group Technology and ensure maximum leverage of existing platform services.
To be successful in knowledge on various emerging technologies including experience in developing customer facing web application design to better serve our customer and business needs.

Extensive experience developing and enhancing enterprise Java application with a significant integration footprint
Significant Agile experience and experience leading an agile team
Excellent spoken and written communication
Strong problem solving / analytical skills
Demonstrated understanding of application performance and capacity concerns.

Technical Skills:

Atleast 5 + years’ experience of Java & J2EE experience is required
At least 3 years of experience on AWS is must.
Product implementation experience i.e., deploying vendor product on cloud is good to have.
Strong Understanding REST APIs and Web Services skills with at
