Senior Java Software Engineer

Location: India (Remote - Preferably Tamil Nadu) 

Summary: 

RunLoyal, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a passionate and experienced Java Developer to join our growing team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and databases to support our software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems that meet the needs of our users and business requirements.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based enterprise applications
• Gather and analyze user requirements to define system specifications
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Java developer
• In-depth knowledge of Java syntax, semantics, and best practices
• Experience with Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA)
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and SQL.
• Experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of software design principles (e.g., SOLID principles).
• Experience with unit testing and code coverage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with DevOps principles.
• Experience with security best practices.
