Overview

The
RuPay Product Senior Lead / Dy. Incharge – Core is responsible for building,
enhancing, and evolving the core product capabilities of the RuPay card
network. The role focuses on architecting large‑scale payment platforms,
strengthening the scheme’s core infrastructure, driving innovation aligned with
global card payment ecosystems, and ensuring best‑in‑class product design.

Key
Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product ownership of
  RuPay Device/Card Tokenization solutions.
  
• Drive strategy, development, and lifecycle
  management of tokenization products across ecosystems (NFC, HCE, OEM Pay,
  etc.).
  
• Design and oversee payment flows, ensuring
  seamless and secure customer journeys across channels.
  
• Work closely with technology teams to
  define and validate product APIs, integration flows, and architecture.
  
• Collaborate with internal and external
  stakeholders (banks, networks, OEMs, fintechs) for product adoption and
  ecosystem expansion.
  
• Ensure compliance with network rules,
  security standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  
• Monitor product performance, usage
  metrics, and continuously improve customer experience and transaction
  success rates.
  

Core
Competencies

·       Strong
understanding of device & card tokenization.

·       Deep
knowledge of payment ecosystems, transaction flows (Card Present & Card Not
Present).

·       Expertise
in API-based product design and integration flows.

·       Familiarity
with digital payments, NFC, mobile wallets, and token requestor ecosystems.

Requirements

• Strong
  Product Management experience in Digital Payments, Banking, Fintech, or
  Financial Services.
  
• Deep
  understanding of UPI, payment systems, APIs, and digital payment
  ecosystems.
  
• Experience
  managing large-scale products from conception to launch and optimization.
  
• Strong
  analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Exposure
  to AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, data analytics, and platform products is
  highly desirable.
  
• Excellent
  communication and executive presentation skills.
