Senior Lead Engineer - Functional Safety

Job Description:

Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (ECE / EEE)

Job Location: Chennai

Safety Design:

SaDP – Safety Development Plan, Schedule of safety activities, and organization of safety network, process and procedures followed by concerned parties.

Safety Concepts – Technical and System level safety measures, HW, SW and Arch level requirements.

Design Failure Analysis – Check for equivalent design, possible failure modes and measures.

Safety Analysis:

Qualitative Analysis – Perform FMEA on system and component level to understand the basic events and safety measures

Quantitative Analysis – Perform reliability predictions, FMEA, FTA to estimate the failure rates and compliance to ISO 26262 standards

Safety Verification:

Safety Test Strategy – Create safety test methods for safety requirements.

Safety Verification and Validation – Consolidate the test reports and traceability between test results to safety requirements.

Safety case / Road approval – Certification of the product for release to road.
