Lead Software Engineer (AI/ML & Generative AI)

About the Role

We are looking for a
highly skilled Senior Lead – Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to build
production-grade AI applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive
backend development experience in Python, hands-on expertise with Large
Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and
Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the ability to design scalable backend
architectures.

Candidates with a
combination of AI Engineering and Full Stack Development experience will be
highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy
  production-grade AI and Generative AI applications.
  
• Build scalable backend services using
  Python and modern software engineering practices.
  
• Design and implement AI-powered
  applications using LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  
• Develop secure REST APIs and
  integrate AI services into enterprise applications.
  
• Build reusable, scalable, and
  high-performance backend architectures.
  
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data
  Scientists, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver
  innovative AI solutions.
  
• Integrate external AI platforms and
  enterprise systems through APIs and microservices.
  
• Optimize application performance,
  scalability, and reliability.
  
• Participate in architecture
  discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
  
• Follow Agile development practices
  and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Stay updated with the latest
  advancements in AI, LLMs, Generative AI, and backend technologies.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in
  Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related
  field.
  
• 8–10 years of professional software development experience.
  
• Strong backend development expertise
  using Python.
  
• Hands-on experience designing and
  implementing AI/LLM-based applications.
  
• Proven experience with RAG, AI
  Agents, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  
• Strong understanding of SQL, REST
  APIs, and scalable backend architectures.
  
• Experience with Git and modern
  software development practices.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and
  communication skills.
