Role Overview 

     Manager- Security Operations Center (SOC)
executes 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring and incident response for Alliant
Cybersecurity clients. The role will oversee SOC operations, engage with senior
leadership, create and deliver reports and briefings, and drive strategic SOC
initiatives and improvements. Though a leadership role, you must also possess strong
technical skills.

What You'll Do:

·       Drive
Security operations and planning.

·       Guide
and direct day-to-day SOC operations including event triage, analysis, quality
assurance, and reporting. 

·       Maintain
industry leading knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security and Risk
Management, Compliance and Privacy as it relates to Security.

·       Ability
to articulate complex technology & risk management concepts to senior
executives clearly and accurately portraying real risks and threats to the
organization

·       Collaborate
with the SOC Leadership team to continuously identify opportunities for
improving SOC operations and then leading initiatives to address them.

·       Being
accountable, project driven, results oriented, willingness to be constantly
learning new things, open minded, ability to articulate sometimes complex
technical security topics and articulate risks in a language that the business
finds meaningful and use that information to make more informed decisions.

·       Support
the teams on proposals, proof of concepts for new clients, technical though
leadership and guidance as a part of technical pre-sales activities

·       Foster
client relationships by providing the right solutions, support, information,
and guidance

·       Coordination
with ISMS core team to support ISMS activities and implantation strategies at
the company. 

Education:

Bachelor’s
degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related discipline.

Certifications:

Professional
Security certifications are a plus (CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS, CCSP or equivalent.)

What are we looking
for:

·       Minimum
of 10 years of experience in a combination of information security, application
security, product security, cloud security etc.

·       2+
years in a managerial role managing security engineering or architecture or SOC
teams.

·       Solid
knowledge of various regulatory requirements and information security control
frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, SOX).

·       Prior
experience managing a SOC and compliances across US and India.

·       Strong
understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory
requirements pertaining to information security, privacy and/or data security

·       Hands-on
experience with security practices such as security incident response and risk
management.

·       Should
possess proficiency in the technical aspects of cyber security, such as Cloud
infrastructure and concepts, specifically the security aspects thereof
Application security topics such as the OWASP top 10.

Ø  SIEM & logging tools

Ø  Vulnerability Management and EDR/XDR
toolsets.

Ø  Network and Compute architectures

Ø  Identity & Access Management and
Privileged Access Management

·       Exposure
to Platform Security, Data Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, Physical
Security, Security Assessment Tools including SAST, DAST, and SCA, Security
Monitoring Tools, and Managed Security Services.

·       Good
understanding of Industry trends and emerging threats.

·       Exceptional
verbal and written communication skills, specifically the ability to
communicate within the context of the intended audience, whether that be senior
executives or highly technical engineering resources.

This
position oversees a team that works 24x7x365 global security operations center.
This role will require you to work during holidays and weekends.
