Roles and Responsibilities
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop medical coding teams to achieve performance goals.
Coding Compliance: Ensure adherence to ICD -10, CPT, HCPCS, and other regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement audits and reviews to maintain coding accuracy and reduce errors.
Process Improvement: Drive efficiency through automation, workflow optimization, and best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, billing teams, and compliance officers.
Training & Development: Organize training sessions to keep teams updated on coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
Reporting: Provide regular updates on productivity, accuracy, and compliance metrics to senior leadership
Candidate Profile:
15+ years of experience in medical coding, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong expertise in ICD -10, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG coding systems.
Proven track record in people management and team handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent preferred.
