Senior Manager – Ad Sales, Digital Business 


Location: Bangalore | Function: Digital | Reports to: Regional Head - Ad Sales (South), Digital Business


Purpose: The position is required to accomplish revenue targets and make a solid impact in digital advertising sales in Digital Business for the South Team.


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Maximizing monetization opportunities by creating and building the client base and constantly creating a digital brand need.

  • Incumbent will be SonyLIV’s ambassador in the market for the agency relationship that you own and will be responsible for shaping up a long-term business plan for the client/agency for make SonyLIV as the preferred destination.

  • Strategize towards securing a steady base by means of acquiring long-term commitments

  • Incumbent will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision.

  • Developing preferred partnership with top digital advertisers through fact finding on brands, marketing plans with accurate information and feedback for past campaigns and ensuring smooth execution of deals

  • In depth account management by means of client servicing through customized properties/deals, and other digital brand solutions for critical launches

  • Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies and maintain a threshold of Ad Sales revenue on a monthly basis.

  • Effective sales planning based on the time of the year to make sure that the inventory is fully utilized thus maximizing the ROI.

  • The role includes account development to have a long-term business association with clients.

  • Formulate and implement innovative Advertising packages that maximize the revenue opportunities with brands and agencies to rapidly expand the business.

  • Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a

  • Maintaining a good sales pipeline for the quarter, highlighting roadblocks early on, so that alternates can be reviewed, will be a critical part of the role


Key Metrics:



  • Achievement of monthly/annual revenue targets

  • Monetization of marquee IPs and sponsorship closures

  • Client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth

  • Yield improvement and revenue mix across sponsorships/ROS/native/roadblocks

  • Salesforce hygiene and pipeline management accuracy


Behavioural Competencies:



  • Ability to leverages relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations


Technical Competencies:



  • Strong knowledge of digital ecosystem.

  • Should be both a category & a brand builder with a s strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets.

  • High on ideation while creating brand solutions for the clients in-sink with their communication strategies.

  • Must possess a strong understanding of the market
