Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and inspire our team in achieving business objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in meeting brokers, sourcing RFQs, and engaging with corporate clients to develop and retain business. They will also ensure the maintenance of profitable loss ratios, EoM ratios, and a balanced product mix, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed GWP budget targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and corporate clients.
Source and secure RFQs, driving business development.
Engage with corporate clients directly to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Implement effective business retention strategies to maintain existing client base.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio.
Monitor and manage loss ratios to ensure profitability.
Maintain the desired EoM ratio as per organizational goals.
Ensure a balanced product mix with the right EB and Non-EB ratio.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record in corporate sales.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-centric approach.
Deep understanding of the insurance market and product offerings.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong networking skills and a well-established industry network.
Willingness to travel for business purposes as needed.
