Job Summary

• Drive data and analytics platforms solutioning and architecture with client and internal stakeholders


• Lead quick initiatives to demonstrate / showcase proof of concept / proof of technology / proof of value


• Help clients in determining the longer term data & analytics platform strategy, architecture and guiding principles


• Advise clients in rationalizing the cost of the data and analytics platform and provide recommendations to contain costs and improve ROI


• Deliver data and analytics solutions on AWS, Azure and GCP Cloud platforms


• Define the scope, develop plan, approach and estimate the level of effort for very high level business / technical requirements by making reasonable assumptions


• Rationalize technology decisions with the client leadership, both solution and architecture, objectively with no bias


• Establish yourself as trusted advisor for clients for everything data and analytics


• Research on emerging data & analytics technologies in all 3 major Cloud platforms and open source tools and technologies

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience in delivering projects in a highly collaborative delivery model with teams at onsite and offshore


• Must have Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Delivered change management initiatives focused on driving data platforms adoption across the enterprise


• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations


• Led and delivered data management projects in different Cloud platforms


• Translated complex analytical requirements into technical design including data models, ETLs and Dashboards / Reports


• Experience deploying dashboards and self-service analytics solutions on both relational and non-relational databases


• Experience with different computing paradigms in databases such as In-Memory, Distributed, Massively Parallel Processing


• Successfully delivered large scale data management initiatives covering Plan, Design, Build and Deploy phases leveraging different delivery methodologies including Agile

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 12 years of data management experience


• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer science or related majors


• Strong Consulting skills in data management including data governance, data quality, security, data integration, processing and provisioning


• Strong knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis and test-driven development


• Knowledge of databases in Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure and GCP


• Scale project delivery to execute large platform modernization initiatives to drive cost optimization and business value


• Develop people through coaching and mentoring to enhance technical skills and inter-personal skills


• Contribute to building the overall Data & Analytics competency


• Design data & analytics architecture tailored to client specific needs
