Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts

Job Overview :

Chartered Accountant or CA- inter cleared with 4-5 years experience in Direct and Indirect Tax. Candidate should have knowledge of Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and GST compliance and should be able to handle Scrutiny/ assessment. Preferably from Real Estate Industry along with offshore work

Direct tax:

• Ensuring Timely compliance with Notices / Intimations issued by the Department

• liasioning with Income Tax Department regarding Srutiny, Rectifications, Refund matters.

• Handling Income Tax Survey proceedings

• Ensuring timely Monthly / Quarterly TDS Compliance

• Co-ordination with Tax consultant and accounting service provider for Income Tax Assessment details

• Preparation of Quarterly Advance Tax

• liasioning with Tax Auditors

• Co-ordination with accounting service provider and Tax consultant for Computation of Provision for Tax & Income Tax Return filing and 3CEB returns

• Ensuring co-ordination with ERP Team for Report Development

• Uploading Foreign Remittance Forms

• Co-ordination with Inter/ Intra Department for Tax related matters

• liasioning with Merchant Banker and Tax consultants for Shares/Debentures valuation

• Overall responsibility for Taxation of entities

• Review of agreements from Direct tax perspective

Indirect Tax:

• Implementation and mentoring indirect tax related activities for the group in various states in India.

• Review working of GST Returns, annual Returns, appropriate availment of ITC and monitoring strict compliance and timely deposit and filing of returns at the portal.

• Ensure that audits and assessment are completed timely and efficiently. Handling notices/SCN issued by GST department.

• Ensure resolution of various issues and queries raised by internal team members including other department and external parties.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in current process and system. And suggesting recommendations to improve the efficiency and service level of the team.

• Review of agreements from Indirect tax perspective

• Managing all GST issues on a day-to-day basis involving maintenance of required statutory records.

• Co-ordination with Tax consultant and accounting service provider for Indirect Tax Assessment details

• Education level - CA

• Work Experience – 5-8 Years

• Specific skills - Direct and Indirect Tax
