Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation. You will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while providing strategic legal support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and employment contracts.


• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.


• Dispute Resolution: Assist in handling legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration, coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.


• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.


• Corporate Governance: Support board meetings, maintain statutory records, and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.


• Employment Law: Advise on labor laws, employee policies, and workplace compliance.


• Intellectual Property: Assist in managing trademarks, copyrights, and other IP-related matters.


• Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on business strategies, new policies, and risk assessment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).


• 5-8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.


• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.


• Experience working with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
