Job Description – Senior Manager – Merchandising

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Merchandising to manage end-to-end merchandising for B2B, institutional and white-label business, including product development, sourcing, costing, vendor management and production execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop B2B and white-label merchandising plans aligned with revenue and margin targets.
  
• Manage range planning, assortment development, sampling, tech packs and fit approvals.
  
• Handle fabric, trims and finished-garment vendor development and management.
  
• Manage costing, price negotiation, FOB/ex-factory costing and margins.
  
• Convert customer POs into production plans and drive OTIF delivery.
  
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Supply Chain, Finance, Design and Legal teams.
  
• Ensure buyer-specific quality, compliance and delivery requirements.
  
• Manage order book, inventory, reorders and EOL liquidation.
  
• Track merchandising KPIs including pipeline, margins, capacity and OTIF.
  
• Manage key B2B/white-label accounts and lead a team of merchandisers.
  

Requirements

• 3–8 years of apparel merchandising experience.
  
• Strong experience in B2B / Trade / Private Label / White Labelling.
  
• Kidswear exposure preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of product development, sourcing, costing and vendor management.
  
• Experience in end-to-end merchandising and production execution.
  
• Good understanding of T&A, sampling, quality, compliance and delivery.
  
• Strong stakeholder and team-management skills.
  
• Graduate in Fashion / Apparel / Textile or related discipline.
  
• MBA / PG in Fashion Management, Retail or Operations is an added advantage.
