Senior Manager - Operations

• Operations & Team Management: Oversee end-to-end daily operations, including order processing, LR creation, and MIS preparation. Manage a team of 5 to 9 people spread across 2 factory locations in the same state, ensuring proper shift coverage.


• Vendor Development & Fleet Handling: Drive vendor development for FTL, Multimodal, and Coastal transport. Utilize e-Tracking systems and coordinate timely vehicle placement.


• Procurement & Bidding: Onboard transport vendors and negotiate freight rates using reverse bidding or auction platforms like Ariba and Procure Tiger.


• Compliance & Customer Coordination: Maintain proper documentation, including LRs, PODs, and E-way bills. Drive active stakeholder management and handle customer queries to maintain high service levels.


• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery performance, vehicle placement efficiency, and cost optimization.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in reverse bidding/auction platforms (e.g., Ariba, Procure Tiger).


• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and standard logistics systems.


• Subject matter expertise in FTL, Multimodal, and Coastal freight management.
