Job Description - Senior Manager - Performance Marketing

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a Ninja, who can take over our user acquisition strategy and add both efficiency & scale to it. Senior Manager – Performance Marketing will own the "User Acquisition Engine" of the CheQ app. You will manage high -velocity campaigns on Google & Meta, we also want you to  simultaneously playbook for your own ads—ensuring we win not just on cost, but on attention.

Run the Performance Engine 
  • DoD Campaign Management: Execute and optimize campaigns across Google App Campaigns (UAC) and Meta Ads. You will be responsible for Day -over -Day (DoD) monitoring of spend, Acquisition & Activation numbers pacing & ensure it aligns with monthly plans & target. 

  • Scale with Efficiency: Continually identify opportunities & run experiments to:

  • Increase Scale on existing channels

  • Improve CAC without hurting the lower funnel metrics.

  • Manage a bunch of affiliates & ensure there’s no hangover from scaling up.

  • Full -Funnel Optimization: Move beyond just "Installs/ users". 

  • Constantly optimize for down -funnel events like First Bill Payment & Revenue/ Transactor to ensure high LTV (Lifetime Value) users.

App Growth & Analytics

  • MMP Manager: Own the relationship with Mobile Measurement Partners. Ensure data accuracy in attribution, deep linking, and event post -backs.

  • Fraud Prevention: Monitor traffic quality daily to detect and block fraudulent installs or bot traffic.

 Experimentation & Innovation

  • New Channels: While Google/Meta are core, pilot experiments on emerging channels (Apple Search Ads, programmatic, influencer performance) to diversify the acquisition mix.

  • Landing Page/Store Optimization (ASO): Collaborate with product teams to optimize App Store and Play Store listings for maximum conversion rate (CVR).

Run the Creative Strategy

  • Act as a Creative Strategist: Serve as the bridge between Data and Design. You will write high -impact creative briefs, conceptualize hooks, and direct the visual narrative of performance ads.

  • High -Velocity Testing: Build a rigorous A/B testing framework for ad creatives (Static, Video, UGC, Reels). You must identify "Winning Creatives" early and scale them while ruthlessly pausing fatigued assets.

  • Ad Fatigue Management: Proactively combat ad fatigue by maintaining a fresh pipeline of creative concepts that resonate with financial prudence and lifestyle rewards

What you’ll need

  • Platform Expertise: Elite -level knowledge of Google Ads (UAC) and Meta Ads Manager. 

  • Creative Eye: You don't just run ads; you understand why an ad works. You have a sharp sense for copy, visual hooks, and user psychology.

  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in Excel/Sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and analytics tools (Mixpanel/CleverTap). You are comfortable tracking metrics on a DoD/ MOM basis.

  • Speed & Agility: Experience working in a fast -paced startup environment where campaigns need to be launched or pivoted in hours, not weeks.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of FinTech unit economics (CAC, LTV, Payback Period).

Key Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • CAC (Cost Per Acquisition): Maintaining acquisition cost for Transacting Users under the target threshold.

  • Scale (Volume): Meeting monthly targets for New User Acquisition (NUA).

  • Creative Win Rate: % of new creative concepts that outperform the control/benchmark.

  • ROAS: Return on Ad Spend 30 days post acquisition
