Senior Manager - Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Role Overview -  

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consulting professional with 10-15 years of experience supporting Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Technology and Healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and procurement transformation, along with a strong track record of delivering cost optimization and value creation initiatives within a consulting environment. 

Key Responsibilities - 

• Lead end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, and transformation initiatives for Pharma, Life Sciences, and Healthcare clients, delivering measurable business value. 


• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, focusing on supplier performance, risk mitigation, contract compliance, and continuous improvement. 


• Support business development: responding to RFPs, creating sales proposals, identifying leads, client demos, and presentations etc.  


• Manage client relationships, self-driven, results oriented, strong leadership and exceptional communication skills  


• Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering, and gap analysis, while ensuring best fit solution  


• Recommend best practices to clients to streamline and standardize S2P processes. 


• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to secure optimal pricing, commercial terms, service levels, and business outcomes. 


• Manage the contract lifecycle, including NDAs, MSAs, service agreements, and supplier contracts. 


• Drive procurement excellence, business transformation, process re-engineering, and change management initiatives, while influencing and aligning key stakeholders. 


• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through a self-driven, results-oriented approach, demonstrating leadership and exceptional communication skills. 

Required Experience - 

• 
  

  10-15 years of experience in Procurement or Procurement Consulting. 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong domain expertise in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Technology, Healthcare Services, or Healthcare Technology. 

  
  

Preferred Qualifications - 

• 
  

  Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, SAP MM, Jaggaer, or similar tools. 

  
  

• 
  

  Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
