• To aid the product Management team in structuring the Product Offering and to support in generate new product Investment Ideas across different asset Classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Structured Products, FX and Funds) which will be offered in Private Banking and Mashreq Gold and Business Banking

• To provide overall support for Wealth Management Activity involving Product Design and Presentations, Process design, data Analysis and Research related to financial Markets.

• To support Wealth Related Projects which will require a very good understanding of order management and execution, client profiling, Investment suitability and Risk rating investment Products.

• Work along with Product Specialists to create Promotion materials for various products & investment solutions

Key Result Areas

• Work on Investment Idea generation and constructing the Investment Product offering. Additionally, supporting the Investment Specialist team in day to day activities which will require a very good understanding of global financial markets and Investment Products. 

• Support Investment  Product Sales  by working on product presentations and Investment related material  in addition to provide support on publications produced by Investment Team

• Support different ad-hoc Wealth Related projects such as Investment Process, order management, Client suitability and Product Risk rating, system level enhancements 

• Provide support on  MIS data and to perform data analysis 

• Liaise with different departments across the Bank (Operation, Treasury, and Technology) for Investment Related Activity.

• To provide overall support to wealth management team ranging from making sure all material are all update to date , running and maintaining MIS, Investment process and documentation, updating any Investment related material

• Working relationships:

Internal: Investment and Products Team, Private Banking and Mashreq Gold Team, Operation and Treasury

External: Investment business vendors / partner

• Analytical thinking, deductive logic and educative judgment required.

• Thorough understanding of Mashreqbank’s policies and procedures in addition to sound knowledge of regulatory, operational and compliance requirements.

• Clear understanding of business and Client requirements with close coordination with the Product Team and Investment Advisory team, without losing focus on risk, regulations and control issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Currently pursuing a profession designation such as Chartered Financial Analysis Designation  (CFA) or any other Investment Related Designation would be a plus
• Good understanding of Financial Products and Global Financial markets
• Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 
• Able to work independently and in a team environment 
• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• High degree of integrity and professionalism.
