Job Description - Senior Marketing functional consultant




We are seeking a visionary and highly strategic Senior Marketing Functional Consultant to bridge the gap between high-level marketing strategy, process optimization, and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients' top management You will lead high-impact discovery workshops, evaluate complex enterprise marketing ecosystems, design streamlined future-state processes, and build actionable roadmaps for AI integration Key Responsibilities 1. C-Suite Engagement & Workshop Facilitation Design and lead strategic workshops with client top management and cross-functional stakeholders to uncover business pain points, growth objectives, and operational bottlenecks. Translate complex technical concepts (especially regarding AI, data fabrics, and privacy) into clear, value-driven business language for executive decision-makers. 2. Marketing Process Improvement & Audit Conduct comprehensive audits of the client’s current-state marketing processes, technology stacks (MarTech), data workflows, and organizational structures. Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and silos within lead generation, content creation, campaign management, and omni-channel customer journey orchestration. Define and document optimized, scalable "To-Be" marketing processes that align with industry best practices and client KPIs. 3. AI Introduction & Roadmap Design Required Skills & Qualifications Experience • 10+ years of experience in marketing consulting, marketing operations, or a senior strategic role within a management consulting firm or digital transformation agency. • Proven track record of leading workshops and presenting to C-level executives at enterprise-level organizations. • Demonstrated experience in business process re-engineering (BPR) or process mapping specifically within enterprise marketing domains. Domain & Platform Knowledge • Platform Agnostic Expertise: Deep understanding of the modern enterprise MarTech landscape (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo) and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs). • Microsoft Ecosystem Value-Add (Highly Preferred): Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Data & Journeys), including the ability to leverage Dynamics 365 Copilot and autonomous agents for journey orchestration, segment building, and real-time optimization. Soft Skills • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and active listening skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities—ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear, actionable framework
