We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Marketing to lead and drive strategic marketing initiatives within the real estate sector. The role will be responsible for strengthening brand positioning, increasing market visibility, generating qualified leads, and supporting business growth through integrated marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, creativity, commercial awareness, and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and the real estate market. You will oversee multiple marketing functions and work closely with Sales and senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, advertising, communications, creative, and brand marketing.
• Define brand positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing budgets.
• Establish team objectives, monitor performance, and report progress against key marketing goals.
• Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across events, email campaigns, websites, social media, advertising, and promotional materials.
• Analyse consumer behaviour, market trends, and customer segments to develop relevant personas and marketing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enter new market segments and increase brand reach and market share.
• Develop strategies to leverage the digital ecosystem for brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
• Monitor competitors, including their pricing, product launches, positioning, acquisitions, and marketing initiatives.
• Partner closely with Sales teams to align marketing and sales efforts and improve lead generation and conversion.
• Plan and execute campaigns, events, and brand initiatives that strengthen market presence.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual business planning and align marketing priorities with organisational objectives.
• Build and develop high-performing marketing teams, including workforce and hiring plans.
• Evaluate campaign performance and use data-driven insights to optimise marketing investments and outcomes.
• Manage external agencies, partners, and creative stakeholders as required.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 10+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or integrated marketing, preferably within real estate or FMCG.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading marketing functions and managing multiple teams or disciplines.
• Strong understanding of real estate marketing, consumer behaviour, brand building, and lead-generation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage digital marketing channels and platforms to achieve brand and revenue objectives.
• Strong expertise in branding, positioning, campaign strategy, customer segmentation, and market expansion.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, performance metrics, and business-focused marketing outcomes.
• Strong understanding of competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer insights.
• Experience working with both agency and client-side environments is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, leadership, creative teams, agencies, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing strategy with measurable business and revenue outcomes.
• Creative, analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
