We are seeking a
detail -oriented and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team. As
a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing,
managing, and securing the organization's enterprise network infrastructure
across on -premises and Microsoft Azure environments. This role focuses on
ensuring high availability, performance, and security of LAN/WAN networks,
Sophos firewalls, Azure networking, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
connectivity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in network operations,
hybrid cloud connectivity, security monitoring, incident response, and
compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards while serving as a senior
technical escalation point and mentoring junior engineers.

What to expect in your journey

On -Premises Network & Firewall Management

·   Manage and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN
infrastructure across multiple office locations, including switching, routing,
VLAN segmentation, and network optimization.

·   Administer Sophos XG/XGS firewalls
across on -premises and cloud environments, including security policy
management, firewall rule optimization, VPN configuration, firmware upgrades,
and patch management.

·   Ensure reliable connectivity for
office locations, remote users, and business -critical applications while
meeting established uptime and performance SLAs.

·   Maintain network architecture
documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards, and change
management records to support audit and compliance requirements.

Azure & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Networking

·   Design, implement, and manage Azure
networking components including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, Network
Security Groups (NSGs), VNet peering, and routing.

·   Support and troubleshoot Azure Virtual
Desktop (AVD) networking, connectivity, latency, and session host performance
issues.

·   Configure and maintain hybrid
connectivity between on -premises infrastructure and Azure using VPN Gateway,
Site -to -Site VPN, or ExpressRoute.

·   Collaborate with Cloud and Identity
teams to support Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and other
network -dependent cloud services.

Network Security & XDR Operations

·   Monitor and investigate
network -related security events using Sophos XDR and other security monitoring
platforms.

·   Perform threat triage, incident
investigation, and containment activities related to firewalls and network
infrastructure.

·   Partner with Information Security
teams to remediate vulnerabilities affecting network devices, firewalls, and
connectivity services.

·   Support internal and external audits
by providing technical evidence and documentation for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and
other compliance frameworks.

Technical Leadership & Operational Support

·   Act as the senior escalation point for
complex network incidents within a 24x5 IT operations environment.

·   Mentor junior network engineers and
provide technical guidance on troubleshooting methodologies, firewall
administration, and network best practices.

·   Develop and maintain operational
runbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base documentation.

·   Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network
stability, security, and operational efficiency.

What you bring to the
table

·   Minimum 7 years of hands -on experience in enterprise
network engineering, with expertise in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls,
and hybrid cloud networking within a global organization.

·   Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional
certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Sophos Certified Engineer/Architect, or
Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ -700) are highly preferred.
