Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a senior developer specialising in Node.js. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality server-side applications that meet the needs of our clients and enhance our platform's functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement APIs, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our tech stack remains competitive.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Node.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and its frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
