Senior Officer - Capacity Specialist

Position Title: Capacity Specialist

Main Purpose Of Job:

Form part of both the planning and execution teams responsible for transportation planning and operations.  Within the team, perform execution-level external relationship management, carrier selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost/service-based optimization activities for Nestle.

Key Outputs: List the main results which the job must deliver in order to achieve its purpose. 

Execute hub strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads 

Identify and escalate gaps in carrier coverage with respect to factors like service, cost, and performance

Undertake role of being operational point of contact for all carrier queries
