Senior PHP Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our dynamic team at Chris Engineering Team. In this position, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features for web applications using PHP.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
