Job Description - Senior Portal developer

Responsibilities include:

â¢ Participate in the design, development and execution overall intranet strategy.

â¢ Design and development of intranet solutions using the SharePoint platform.

â¢ Interact with various stakeholders including business analysts, business users and senior leaders to gather

requirements.

â¢ Development and execution of end-user (content manager) training plan.

â¢ Architect and deploy portal user/group security strategy.

â¢ Audit the SharePoint Intranet for out-of-date content.

Education and Work Experience

â¢ Demonstrated experience administering and developing content workspaces in an enterprise portal

environment, preferably using SharePoint 2013.

â¢ Experience with advanced SharePoint development methodologies, Workflow, and Security.

â¢ Experience developing in the Microsoft Power Platform to include PowerApps and Power Automate

â¢ SharePoint branding experience, customizing UIâs using SharePoint Designer, master pages and custom

solutions

â¢ Four-year college degree in computer science, information systems or a related field or work equivalent

work experience.

â¢ Minimum of 5 (+) years application experience with Internet/Intranet technologies / platforms and

integration with backend systems and databases.

â¢ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

â¢ Good interpersonal, written communication and customer relations skills.

â¢ Full life cycle software development experience.

â¢ Working knowledge of LDAP and MS-Active Directory security models.

â¢ Cross functional experience with sales, human resources, finance, or operations is desired

â¢ Experience with cloud-based SharePoint solutions (O365) a must.

â¢ Experience administering hosted applications and portal technologies a plus.

â¢ Industry experience supporting distribution or manufacturing companies a plus.
