Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager.

Location: Coimbatore or Bengaluru, India

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• To manage obvious strategic supplier relationships, often with executive contacts to drive value through strategic sourcing decisions.
• To develop and implement commodity strategy and procurement initiatives to enable scalable business growth.
• To manage contracts, specifications, specifications, quality, and capacity to meet product requirements for business units.
• To create robust negotiation strategies and cost targeting by understanding market dynamics, industry benchmarking and key trends.
• Improves supply chain resiliency by identifying risks and developing a business continuity plan that details mitigating strategies.
• Lead day-to-day operations and provide high-level direction to procurement professionals in the United States and India.
• To execute timely procurement of materials to meet customer delivery dates for capital equipment, service and spare parts
• Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers to ensure that materials are procured on time and within budget
• Improve Buyer efficiency by identifying and implementing software automation
• To expedite materials for unforecasted demand and urgent requests
• To develop and implement systems to track and report costs and cost reduction in real-time

Qualifications:

• 15+ years in a leadership/management role required.
• 10+ years working in semiconductor required.
• 5+ years of supply chain required.
• MBA degree in Supply Chain, Systems or Executive General Management is required
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Ability to work on compressed timelines on high visibility problems is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel required.
• Previous manufacturing, quality and sourcing in the semiconductor industry are preferred
• Significant experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with low volume, high complexity capital equipment.
• Excellent analytical, verbal communication and presentation skills are critical to success.
• Ability to statistically analyse data, summarise and effectively report problems to executives through written and/or graphical formats.
• Excellent ability to lead and work cross-functionally across multiple departments on complex planning challenges and projects.
• Ability to travel to the United States.
