Position Overview

Own the product strategy, development, and execution of revenue recognition systems to ensure accurate and compliant revenue reporting (ASC 606 / IFRS 15). Translate accounting requirements into scalable product workflows, manage integrations with billing and ERP systems, and partner with Finance, Engineering, and Data teams to support subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and complex contract scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, development, and execution of revenue recognition systems

• Ensure accurate and compliant revenue reporting (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)

• Translate accounting requirements into scalable product workflows

• Manage integrations with billing and ERP systems

• Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Data teams

• Support subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and complex contract scenarios

Minimum Qualifications

Core Skills

• Product management (roadmapping, prioritization, execution)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Stakeholder management (Finance, Engineering, Data)

• 5+ years in product management

Technical

• System design and data modeling

• APIs and integrations

• Hands-on experience in SAP is a must-have requirement

Domain Knowledge

• Revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)

• SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, deferred revenue)

• Billing models (subscription, usage-based, hybrid)

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail (critical for compliance)

• Clear communication of complex concepts

• Ability to handle ambiguity and edge cases

Ideal Candidate

• Strong product management experience with expertise in roadmapping, prioritization, and execution

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience managing stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, and Data teams

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and SaaS business models

• Hands-on experience with SAP

• Strong technical understanding of system design, APIs, integrations, and data modeling

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and handle complex edge cases

• Basic SQL / data analysis (preferred)
