This role is a high-impact product leadership position focused on shaping and scaling healthcare data solutions across the U.S. payer and market access ecosystem.
You will define product vision, architecture, and roadmap for complex data products that transform fragmented healthcare data into structured, actionable insights.
The position involves working at the intersection of product strategy, data architecture, and client engagement, ensuring solutions are both scalable and commercially impactful.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, operations, and commercial teams to translate complex domain needs into robust product capabilities.
A key focus is driving data quality, governance, and standardization across multiple healthcare datasets and integrations.
You will also play a critical role in leading teams, shaping product strategy, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
This is a senior, cross-functional role where your decisions directly influence product scalability, client value, and market differentiation.
Accountabilities:
- Define and own the product vision, architecture, and roadmap for healthcare data products across the U.S. payer and market access ecosystem.
- Lead multi-product roadmap planning, identifying opportunities for expansion into adjacent data products and new use cases.
- Translate complex business, client, and regulatory needs into clear product priorities in collaboration with engineering, analytics, and commercial teams.
- Define and track key product KPIs such as data completeness, accuracy, refresh rates, and client adoption to guide roadmap decisions.
- Manage third-party healthcare data vendor relationships, ensuring data quality, integration, and lifecycle optimization.
- Design and govern data models, classification frameworks, and business rules to ensure scalable and consistent healthcare data systems.
- Establish data governance, quality assurance, and monitoring processes to maintain integrity across all product pipelines.
- Lead client issue resolution efforts, including root cause analysis and delivery of corrective actions for complex data problems.
- Oversee team leadership responsibilities including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and capability building.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, documentation, and scalable product governance processes.
- Develop internal enablement and client-facing communication materials to support product adoption and understanding.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, healthcare analytics, or pharmaceutical/market access data products.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare payer ecosystem, including PBM structures, formulary design, and reimbursement dynamics.
- Hands-on experience working with healthcare datasets such as claims, formulary, and reference data, ideally including vendors like IQVIA, MMIT, DRG, or Symphony.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Excel, cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), and BI tools such as Power BI.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, manage complex roadmaps, and deliver scalable data products.
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional or distributed teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and healthcare concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the intersection of product, data, and client-facing responsibilities.
- Experience with stakeholder alignment, organizational change, and cross-functional collaboration in complex environments.
- Nice to have: exposure to SaaS commercialization, pricing models, and healthcare data monetization strategies.
