Senior QA Engineer

Extensive QA experience in test planning, execution, defect management. Proficient with test automation tools/frameworks to create automated test suites. Strong grasp of testing methodologies including regression, integration and performance. Programming expertise to write/maintain test scripts. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Skilled in bug tracking/management. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Functions

• Develop and implement test strategies and plans for software products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency.
• Define and track quality metrics to measure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning and execution.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing.
• Strong knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
• Experience with performance testing and profiling tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a QA team.
• Experience with testing mobile applications and web services.
