Job Title: Senior QA Engineer (Automation & Cloud Testing)

Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to drive quality across cloud-native applications. This role owns functional, automation, and end-to-end testing, while leveraging modern QA practices including AI-assisted testing and cloud validation. We're looking for a hands-on engineer who can independently design test plans, build automation, and ensure high-quality releases across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design test strategies, scenarios, and test cases


• Perform UI, API, integration, and system testing


• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and validation


• Design and develop robust automation frameworks; build scalable test suites (Selenium/PyCharm)


• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines; drive shift-left testing and increase automation coverage


• Own end-to-end (E2E) test coverage across microservices, APIs, and UI layers


• Validate real-world workflows across cloud, mobile, and backend systems


• Perform regression, release validation, and production sanity checks


• Validate microservices and APIs using tools like Postman/RestAssured


• Work with cloud platforms — AWS, GCP, or Azure; test deployments across Dev, QA, Staging, Prod environments


• Understand containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) basics


• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for test case generation, automation script optimization, debugging, and log analysis


• Explore intelligent test selection / self-healing automation


• Work in Agile/Scrum teams; collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps


• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies


• Experience in manual + automation testing


• Good knowledge of test design techniques and defect lifecycle


• Programming: Java / Python / JavaScript


• Automation: Selenium / Cypress / PyCharm


• API Testing: Postman / RestAssured


• CI/CD: Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI


• Version Control: Git


• Hands-on exposure to a cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)


• Basic understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, logging & monitoring tools

Candidate Profile

• Good to have: basic understanding of performance testing (JMeter, k6) and validating system reliability under load


• Comfortable working independently in Agile/Scrum environments


• Strong analytical and debugging mindset
