Job Description – Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil with strong expertise in quantity surveying, site measurements, earthwork calculations, billing, estimation, surveying, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements, quantity calculations, and verification for civil works.
  
• Prepare and review BOQ, BBS, quantity statements, and measurement sheets.
  
• Perform earthwork, excavation, filling, and cross-section calculations.
  
• Handle estimation, rate analysis, and productivity calculations.
  
• Monitor executed quantities vs. BOQ/approved quantities.
  
• Support contractor billing, client measurements, and quantity reconciliation.
  
• Review construction drawings, layouts, and specifications for accurate quantity take-offs.
  
• Prepare measurement books, quantity reports, reconciliation statements, and project documentation.
  
• Coordinate with site, planning, engineering, contractors, and surveying teams.
  
• Identify and document variations, additional quantities, and deviations.

Preferred Project Experience

Experience in Industrial, EPC, Refinery, Petrochemical, Steel, Power, Infrastructure, Metro, or large-scale Construction projects will be preferred.

Exposure to civil structures, underground piping, tankage, conveyor systems, coke oven, refinery units, or large industrial buildings will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / Civil Construction / Surveying.
  
• Diploma / B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in site measurements and quantity calculations.
  
• Good knowledge of BOQ, estimation, billing, drawings, and project documentation.
  
• Strong coordination skills with site and project teams.
  
• Willingness to work at Bina / Numaligarh.
