Senior Research Associate

About the Role

The
Senior Research Associate will play a critical role
in strengthening the analytical and research capabilities of the vertical,
working on rigorous studies related to Institute for What Works to Advance
Gender Equality (IWWAGE), and policy impacts. The role will
involve working closely with senior leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and
external stakeholders to support high-quality research design, data analysis,
and insight generation.

Key
Responsibilities of the Position: 

• Assist in designing survey instruments for
primary research studies
• Conduct pilots for survey questionnaires, support in training of enumerators
• Conduct field monitoring exercises and data checks to ensure data quality
• Support in qualitative data collection via FGDs/Semi-structured interviews
• Support in training of the field team
• Knowledge generation and dissemination

• Conduct data cleaning, and data analysis from primary surveys
• Generate insights from primary survey, large-scale sample surveys,
administrative datasets, other secondary data
• Support in visualization and statistical analysis on Principal Investigator
(PI) led projects
• Conduct literature review, and support senior researchers in report-writing
• Write official blogs and contribute to academic papers with other members of
the research team

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

 The candidate is already working with us for
quite some months as a consultant and the performance is satisfactory. And the
candidate fulfils the following eligibility criteria.
* Experience: 2-3 years

* Minimum qualification: Masters in Economics/Development Studies/Public
Policy/Gender Studies or other relevant streams.

* Candidates with knowledge of statistical package (STATA/SPSS/R)
