Senior Research Associate - Jal Jeevan Mission

Purpose

Assist in carrying out high quality empirical and applied research in rural drinking water and sanitation sector to address sectoral challenges and facilitate in the achievement of 'Har Ghar Jal' and 'ODF Plus' in rural India and assist in related education, capacity building and Training and outreach activities.

Reporting to

Jal Jeevan Mission Chair Professor

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting research projects and capacity building exercise 

• Work on data collection, statistical tools / MS Excel for data analysis

• Assist in preparing draft reports and organize training programmes

• Coordinate with other stakeholders

• Deliver periodic reports and presentations of findings

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification and Personal Profile

M. B. A/ M. A/ M. S/ M. Phil in Economics

Key Skill and Ability Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

• Mature attitude with the capability to discuss coordination/ research issues with other stakeholders/ team members.

• Knowledge of sources of data and data collection methods

• Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis and report generation

• Excellent MS skills are a must.

• Confident and self-motivated.

• Proven research skills in any field of study

• Superior analytical skills with eye to details
