Senior Sales Manager – Nutraceuticals
We are looking for an experienced and results -driven Senior
Sales Manager with specialized knowledge in selling nutraceutical ingredients
such as carotenoids, oils & oleoresins, DHA & EPA, and herbal extracts (including
berberine, ashwagandha, bromelain, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a blend
of technical and commercial acumen to cater to both domestic and international
markets, drive revenue growth, and foster long -term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve
sales targets for nutraceutical products, including carotenoids, oils &
oleoresins, DHA & EPA, and a variety of herbal extracts.
Identify and approach prospective clients in both domestic
and export markets, establishing and nurturing strong relationships.
2. Technical & Commercial Expertise:
Provide technical insights to clients regarding product
benefits, applications, and quality standards to support informed purchasing
decisions.
Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, contract
agreements, and delivery timelines to close profitable deals.
3. Market Expansion and Customer Management:
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business
opportunities and emerging markets, especially in nutraceutical and related
industries.
Expand the customer base by targeting new segments and
strengthening existing customer relationships.
4. Cross -functional Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D, marketing, and production teams
to ensure product offerings align with market demands and client
specifications.
Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights on
market trends and assist in developing promotional materials.
5. Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on sales performance, market trends,
customer feedback, and competitor activities.
Provide regular sales forecasts, monthly and quarterly
reports, and strategies to the senior management team.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales within the nutraceutical
ingredients sector, with a focus on products like carotenoids, oils &
oleoresins, DHA & EPA, and herbal extracts.
Strong knowledge of both domestic and export markets in the
nutraceutical industry.
Technical understanding of nutraceutical products, their
applications, and industry standards.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make
informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a
related field. An MBA or equivalent experience in sales and business management
is a plus.
Established network within the nutraceutical or allied
industries.
Strong understanding of regulatory standards for domestic
and international nutraceutical sales.
