Job Description - Senior Sales Operations Analyst

The Team:The Sales Operations team reports into the Finance organization, which has strong business partnerships and influence throughout the company. We drive financially informed decisions in support of the company’s strategic objectives. We are investing in advanced analytics capabilities to enhance our data-driven approach to problem solving. We are focused on process improvement to provide the most efficient transactional support for our customers, vendors, and employees. The Role:This Senior Sales Operations Analyst will provide sales operations support for the European sales team. This includes bookings reporting, forecasting support, CRM classifications, funnel analysis, and commission calculations. This position collaborates with sales, operations, IT, accounts receivable and project management to ensure accurate financials for the European business.

Essential Functions:Prepare weekly and monthly bookings reports.Assist with the monthly bookings forecast process.Analyze the monthly forecast variances to understand key drivers.Be a point of contact for Regional Sales leaders for reporting & analysis.Prepare and analyze monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Assist with the annual Global Plan of Sale (GPS) process.Help maintain accurate data in CRM (e.g., customer & industry classifications).Assist with monthly commission and bonus calculations for accrual & payroll.Set up new sales personnel / teams in system based on staffing changes.Assist with the creation of annual commission plan appendices as approved by sales management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills with ability to work through challenging and frustrating issues with a positive attitude.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – accuracy is critical.High-energy individual with ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally.Strong analytical skills.Strong system skills (especially Excel, Salesforce, SAP).Experience in working with a business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau) would be an advantage but not required.

Minimum education and work experience required:A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Analytical Field5+ years professional experience supporting Sales organization.
