Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG) Consultant to lead enterprise-scale SAP MDG implementations and support initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and Master Data Governance processes, with expertise in designing, configuring, and integrating SAP MDG solutions across multiple business domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SAP MDG implementation, upgrade, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP MDG solutions for Material, Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Financial Master Data.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP MDG functional and technical solutions.
  • Configure data models, governance workflows, change request types, business rules, validations, derivations, and approval workflows.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams including MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, EWM, and technical teams to ensure seamless master data integration.
  • Configure and support Data Replication Framework (DRF), BRF+, SAP Fiori applications, workflow configuration, and data modeling.
  • Support data migration, master data harmonization, duplicate management, and data quality initiatives using SAP MDG best practices.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, governance standards, and end-user training materials.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution architecture and delivery best practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of overall SAP consulting experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on SAP MDG implementation experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
      SAP Master Data Governance (SAP MDG)
      SAP S/4HANA
      SAP ECC
      Material Master
      Business Partner
      Customer Master
      Supplier/Vendor Master
      Financial Master Data
Hands-on experience with:
      SAP Fiori
      BRF+
      Data Replication Framework (DRF)
      Workflow Configuration
      Data Modeling
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, EWM, and other SAP modules.
  • Experience in data migration, master data governance, duplicate management, data quality, and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging, BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, and SAP integration technologies is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP MDG and/or SAP S/4HANA Certification is preferred.
  • Experience in enterprise SAP transformation or migration projects will be an added advantage.
