Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET with expertise in Automation with Javascript Testing frameworks like Cypress. The ideal candidate will have a good background in programming using Javascript or Python and other scripting languages. The Senior SDET will be responsible for managing build processes, CI processes, and QA environments, as well as working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins. Knowledge on Hadoop Components like Hive, Spark, Elasticsearch, Mongo, Kafka is highly desirable.

We’re looking for someone who can:   

Be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality and come up with Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning, and execution strategy. Develop maintainable test automation tools, and automated test suitesWork closely with Software Engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the engineering team.Along with automation, create expertise in data technologies, platform components, and featuresMaintain test coverage, regression pipelines, and release management                            

 What makes you the right fit for this position? 

Develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using programming languages such as Java or Python.

Collaborate with development teams to develop test strategies and plans for new product features.

Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products.

Perform manual testing when necessary, and identify and report defects.

Work with build management tools like Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools to ensure smooth build and deployment processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and improve product quality.

Monitor and analyze test results, and provide feedback to development teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Good to have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4+ years of experience in software testing.

Strong programming skills in Java or Python, and other scripting languages.

Hands-on experience with building processes, CI processes, and managing QA environments.

Experience working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
