Senior Security Architect IAM, AWS & Application Security (Okta)

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta, ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and access governance.


• Architect secure identity integrations across AWS services, SaaS applications, and custom platforms using technologies such as SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and RBAC.


• Act as a trusted security advisor to application, infrastructure, and data teams, providing architectural guidance throughout design and implementation phases.


• Develop secure identity federation strategies, API security frameworks, and token-based authentication models for cloud and hybrid environments.


• Enable secure connectivity and identity validation for field devices, edge systems, and hybrid cloud deployments.


• Optimize identity workflows, troubleshoot complex security challenges, and ensure consistent security controls across multiple platforms.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote security best practices, improve governance, and support long-term security transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management and security architecture.


• Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing Okta-based IAM solutions, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, directory integrations, and policy configuration.


• Strong knowledge of AWS security services, including IAM, Cognito, and cloud security best practices.


• Proven experience with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and role-based access control (RBAC).


• Experience securing applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments while providing architectural guidance to technical teams.


• Familiarity with securing field devices, edge computing environments, and cross-platform identity integrations.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise both technical and business teams effectively.
