Job Description - Senior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

Team Support & Supervision:

â Work closely with the engineering team to guide development activities.

â Support developers in reviewing implementations and resolving challenges.

â Help maintain consistent coding and architectural standards across the team.

Code Review & Quality Assurance:

â Review application code (including AI -assisted outputs) to ensure quality and
correctness.

â Identify improvements related to performance, scalability, and maintainability.

â Ensure basic security and best practices are followed.

Process Improvement

â Contribute to improving development workflows and team processes.

â Help introduce practical approaches to AI -assisted development usage.

â Identify simple ways to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary effort or cost.

System Understanding

â Participate in discussions around application architecture and design decisions.

â Validate APIs, database structures, and integrations at a high level.

â Assist in troubleshooting and improving existing systems when required.

Collaboration

â Work with product, design, QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery.

â Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and team discussions.

What We’re Looking For

â A hands -on senior developer who understands real -world systems.

â Someone comfortable guiding a team rather than coding everything individually.

â Practical mindset with focus on getting things done efficiently.

â Willingness to adapt to new tools and evolving development practices.

Requirements

â Graduate / Diploma holder in any stream.

â Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

â Good experience with Node.js, React.js, and PostgreSQL.

â Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web development
practices.

â Ability to review code and suggest improvements.

â Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and system workflows.

â Basic knowledge of database design and query optimization.

â Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows.

â Understanding of application security fundamentals.

â Exposure to cloud environments or deployment processes is a plus.

â Openness to working with AI -assisted development tools.
