Senior Software Engineer 

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are looking for a hands on Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer to own and drive quality across modern enterprise applications spanning Frontend, backend APIs, and AI driven workflows.

This role is for a strong individual contributor (hands-on) who will design, build, and own automation frameworks, embed quality into CI/CD pipelines, and act as a key quality gatekeeper for releases. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.

In this role, you will work on next generation enterprise platforms involving AI driven workflows, owning release quality end to end and shaping modern QA and automation architecture in a globally scaled environment.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own end to end quality across Frontend, backend APIs, and system workflows


• Drive test strategy , automation architecture , release validation, risk assessment , and CI/CD quality governance


• Define release readiness criteria and Act as final quality approver for production releases


• Perform hands on automation using  right framework


• Build reusable automation utilities, libraries, and frameworks


• Validate AI assisted and agent driven workflows, including orchestration logic, integrations, and fallback behaviour


• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable quality feedback


• Write clean, maintainable automation code using Python or/and Java


• Perform root cause analysis for failures and escaped defects


• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and SRE teams to promote quality by design


• Contribute to documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field


• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in test automation or test platform engineering


• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch


• Hands on expertise with:
  
  
  
  • UI automation: Selenium, Playwright
  
  
  • API automation: RestAssured, Postman
  
  
  
  


• Strong understanding of test strategy, risk based testing, and release validation


• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins etc.)


• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud infrastructure


• Familiarity with cloud native and microservices architectures


• Experience in testing AI agents, MCP tools, prompt-driven system, autonomous systems is a strong plus


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills


• Comfortable working with global, cross functional teams
