Senior Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards for business stakeholders.

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

Gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.

Create and optimize data models using star and snowflake schema methodologies.

Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources.

Connect Power BI with SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Azure services, and other enterprise systems.

Implement Row Level Security and manage workspace access permissions.

Monitor and optimize report performance and dataset refresh schedules.

Create reusable datasets and semantic models for self service analytics.

Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions.

Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and resolve issues.

Document dashboards, data models, and development processes.

Proficiency in Power BI including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
